NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) has laid down Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) as the minimum qualifications for a person to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for Class I to VIII.
Both CTET ( Central teacher eligibility test) and TET (teacher eligibility test) are the entrance examination required to be qualified to become an elementary school teacher in India.
CTET is conducted by CBSE at the central level and the qualified candidate is eligible to be teacher in any school under central Government for classes I to VIII.
TET is conducted by the state government and enables the qualified candidate to be a teacher in a school of that particular state for classes I to VIII.

CTET and TET Preparation Tips:

First Evaluate CTET Exam Pattern and Syllabus. Make an list Which Should be Your Strong Point and Which one Your week point. Special care about week point.  

Second Check Previous year question paper. It give you an idea about what type of question asked.
